Alexia Sinclair is an award-winning australian photographer born in 1976. Her work is the result of a thousand interests and inspirations from art, painting and history, but you can't underestimate the influence from the world of illustration and fairy-tale for the composition and the magic that depict.

In the collection “Frozen Tale“, Siclair through photography, tells the story of the baroque castle on Lake Mälaren in Sweden through several shots that depict models in costume who occupy the sumptuous halls of the manor. In a sense, takes us back in time, allowing us to enjoy the life of Stockholm in the 17th century. Shows us fantastic Baroque interiors inhabited and lived by all kinds of characters.

What you will see are collections of beautiful photographs inspired by history and its most influential people mostly women. Yes because the collection “The Regal Twelve” refers to the many women who have made history and who are recognized for their power and audacity.

So here in deeply shots paintings with an amazing glamour touch characters appear as the last Tsarina of Russia Alexandra Romanov, the most criticized French Queen Marie Antoinette and the splendid warlike and vindictive Boudica, Queen of the Celts.

A dive into the story very well done, complex and multi-layered, a veritable collection of strong female characters, much discussed yet loved and celebrated, that all women should know.
