With the paper you make newspapers, with newspapers make wood, with wood will make the furniture. If we remove the intermediate step we will have the following: with newspapers get the furniture. Here's, in a few simple words, explained the philosophy of NewspaperWood created by dutch Mieke Meijer.

Basic idea is very simple and at the same time effective from the point of view technician and beautiful from the viewpoint of aesthetics. Paste magazine pages from sheet to sheet transformed the newspaper into a new material that can be particularly resistant shaped to taste, clipped and assembled and also sanded just like wood. The project is especially interesting because it is a value-added recycling. The paper used is no longer thrown but functional furniture recycled to create.
