Level to level, sheet sheet, color on color. The philosophy of Li-Chu Wu is precise but extremely intricate. The paper of this jewelry designer of taiwanese origin, but in Great Britain, they are really something spectacular. Its products are small colored craters shapes inspired by nature, involving the sense of touch.

I am particularly impressed anyone who can turn a relatively simple material such as paper. Who carries out a project with a relatively poor material and takes the form of a business, not just a prototype or, worse in an abstract idea. Paper jewels of taiwanese designers are really made from two simple materials: cardboard colorful and silver used as the basis of the composition.

The tricky part of this project is to create a layer on layer three-dimensional geometric design that reminds me of the precious stones not worked or even rock formations like the geode. So take reference nature to recreate the pattern with order, just finished using materials such as paper and silver.

The compositions build layer upon layer from the Center, creating a sort of split to explore, not only with the view (the soft colors and complementary) but especially with the touch feeling every single sheet that make up.

Paper has, without doubt, many varied uses. However, multiple layered paper interests me with its subtle movement and tactile qualities. I aim to recreate the link between the material and its original source in the natural environment. Pure and organic elements reveal a delicate and subtle visual language“.
