Yesterday, in this article, I told the first part of a mini-way through the Fuori Salone 2013 Tortona Design Week, in today's article I want to tell you about the second part of the evening. Unfortunately, this year, I can't afford to visit more locations and events due to the high workload. I admit that the temptation to give up the computer and do a long ride one day is very high, but unfortunately… "sa da lavorà"!!! I hope that the second part of this story in the world of design in Milan 2013 make you want to attend the event and comment on what you have seen below!

The first part has been strongly characterised by the Asian design and its strong sense of recovery of tradition with a modern interpretation with minimal forms. With the exception of the Dutch design at the Officine della Torneria. Right next to Holland is Singapore.

4. Singapore Lah! – The Design Showcase

Fuori Salone 2013 Tortona Design Week - Itty Bitty by Desinere

I'm not mad and still remember geography, but in the adjacent Carrozzeria can visit “Singapore Lah!” the first collective exhibition of designers among the younger, the most honored and most internationally acclaimed Singapore (Note) to Fuori Salone 2013 Tortona Design Week organized by Singapore Furniture Industries Council (Sfic). Here again, as for the other countries the recovery of tradition it is essential, the favorite materials are wood, paper and felt. A fun playful diversion because it stimulates interaction between object and Viewer with stools and chairs swings of each style reminiscent of both the rocking horse from Itty Bitty by Desinere, Rocking Motorcycle by NextOfkin Creatives and Lullaby by Studiorigins.

6. Designersblock Milan Edition

In the 7000 sq.m Officine Creative Ansaldo (Oca) the event Designersblock hosts 70 designers of international origin, and I come across an idyllic vision. I am talking about Jorunn Hustoft, a young Norwegian designer who lives and works in Brighton (UK). But why she? Believe it or not she got a’wonderful image of calm, calmness and gentleness that hardly can be seen in a similar context, a girl who knit and smiles is so beautiful that you can't ignore!

Last but certainly not least, in the courtyard the Superstudio Più space, you can find House of the Future. The House of the future, designed by Brazilian architect Betina Gomes, comes to life in the true sense of the word under the eyes of the onlookers. The concept is very topical for two reasons: 1. the House is small, far 32 mq.; 2. the House has the peculiarity to be convenient for moving.

The two concepts are related as respond to the need to accommodate a large number of people during events even as international trade shows and sports events with a high rate of technology and comfort living. These structures are organized in stackable modules, furnished, ready for use in about 72 hours after delivery. Incredible example of temporary living.

What I could visit the Fuori Salone 2013 Tortona Design Week has a common thread that you can't ignore: the tradition.
