Definitely long weekend and a long time to prepare for the Christmas. I haven't yet got a gift and so I'm definitely in trouble, but I have given a whole series of activities that are christmas and do so much as the winter atmosphere’tree and wreath by putting out the door. Last but not least I finally fixed the issue of lights on the veranda, I think I did well… and if noone like it then it's fine for me. Also in this case this christmas and decorative frenzy that goes with it made a great help, with a couple of LEDs cables 20 meters and paper Lantern 3 hours are able to illuminate a veranda 5 m (I think) height.

The reason for this post though not boast of Christmas illuminations but do a tutorial on Christmas Wreath to put at the door. I chose the colors gold and silver for the entire project, I hope you enjoy it and maybe someone could show us how he made his.

What you need?
♠ packaging cardboard ♠ newspaper ♠ vinil glue ♠ hot glue ♠ cutter ♠ glitter gold and silver ♠ ribbon ♠ spay gold ♠ silver acrylic ♠ acorns ♠ dry flowers ♠ wooden sticks ♠ paper cups for muffin ♠ wood sheets ♠ wire ♠ plastic beads ♠ silica ♠ coffee capsule ♠ pin.

As regards the base of wreath photos of the procedure arrived work already started because I forgot to make them :(.
However it is not difficult to do it. Draw a large circle in a sheet of cardboard packaging (I used a bowl) and with a smaller bowl designed a smaller circle inside so you have a ring of around 6 cm thick. On a different sheet repeat the same procedure and then cut out everything with a cutter and glue the two rings with vinil glue to create a firmer base. With the newspaper modeled of tube and with the help of hot glue lined the side of the wreath that you want to decorate until it obtained the height that you want to. Now… how to keep it all together? With the
paper mache! The result is quite irregular, then it is up to you to try and make the surface as smooth as possible with paper and glue. Once dried out everything you should have a similar result.

While it dries you can create the base decorations bling. I have tried to hold together the glitter with glue spray, If you can you are geniuses… I don't so I passed directly to glue generously coat on all objects and then with a bowl and plastic spoon you can coat of glitter and let dry.

The wood sheets I used to create the leaves that make up the decoration. I have used the boats for food use I found in a supermarket, are of light wood, very thin and fragile, then when cut with cutter be careful to follow the grain of the wood because crumble easily. Once you have chosen shapes, make different sizes and then paint with spray paint (or acrylic paint).

Once dry the base, the surface that you have covered with paper mache is fairly rigid to support the weight of the decoration and not deform once hung. I have given a coat of silver acrylic paint to have a uniform color since the tape is cloth parcel and thus is slightly transparent. Once dry the color you can cover the paper base with tape, in this case it is better to use the hot glue even if it goes through the cloth so careful not to burn! With advanced tape please remember to make a small support for hanging the finished wreath, paste with hot glue.

Everyone likes the coffee and in Italy we are overwhelmed of capsule of all types and tastes possible and some are even already colored! A few days ago while drain tray of coffe capsule I used had a lighting idea… the shell resembles a Bell and Bell makes as much Christmas! From there the step was short enough to empty and wash the capsule and with a safety pin to make a hole up to pass the wire or cotton as you like. Left the pin in the capsule and then switch to colorization with spray paint both inside and outside. Once dry the whole do pass the wire with the pearl and pass all assembly.

The muffin paper cups are found at any supermarket, you must cut the flat base and coloring, wait for it to dry and then… go with the final assemblage of Christmas Wreath.
